Nice Jade Gua Sha tool with case
I have a larger stainless steel Gua Sha tool that I’ve been using for about a month, but I was interested in a more traditional stone tool, so I ordered this Jade stone tool by Rena Chris. I do like the feel of it against my skin better than my steel one and the smaller size can make it a bit easier to use on certain points on my face.It comes with a nice carrying/storage case and a cleaning cloth, which I appreciate. Although it comes with an instruction pamphlet, it does not actually include directions on how and where to apply it to your face. You have to either go to a website or youtube to watch videos. I do think this basic information should be included with the product since not everyone will have used a tool like this before.The stone feels nice in the hand and is smooth against the skin. I do worry that it seems a bit fragile. You will definitely want to be careful not to drop it. Since you typically use this with oil, you will want to make sure your fingers and hands are not slippery from the oil. Different parts of the stone are used for different points on the face, which means you will end up holding it in areas that have oil on the stone from using it against another part of your face. So take care not to let it slip from the oil.At the current price of $5.99, I find this Gua Sha tool to be a good value and would recommend it. Just keep in mind that you will need to be careful with it and also will need to seek out tutorials if you don’t already know how to use it.

There is definitely a learning curve to learning how to use it, but from what I can tell this gua sha stone does a great job. It’s smooth with no rough spots and the bag and cleaning cloth is a wonderful addition. Help when traveling too. Overall I’m pleased with this product as I learn how to incorporate it into my nightly routine.

Thoughtful booklet and case!
I have been updating my skincare routine now that I am in my early forties. I have a jade roller and dry brushes but haven’t invested in a gua sha tool yet. I was looking through various jade tools when I chose this one.I was drawn to this gua sha tool because I wanted a carrying or storage bag for my tool. I love that the gua sha came with a soft structured bag, and a shammy.The information packet is very thoughtful and helpful. I could refer to the brand’s further information about how to use the tool and which oil to use. Ideally a few examples just in the pamphlet would be better. There was a page on various stones and materials that could have been focused on oils or serums. Perhaps facts about jade in regard to use with oils or products.The gua sha tool is a nice size. The tool fits in my hand comfortably. I also think the jade glides well on my skin with the proper prep oil. The jade is an attractive color. Easy to clean after use. The shammy helps protect the tool or buff it up. Storing the tool in the bag is simple. The snap on the bag is sturdy.The jade is slab cut, the edges are rounded for comfort. Style wise I do like a more thick tool but this thinner flat style is very standard and also pleasing. The jade is cool and refreshing.I have been using this gua sha in my routine mostly at night time when I have already showered and am away from elements like wind. I always drink water after any body work, so I was suprised to see the booklet does encourage this.I know results from techniques like gua sha are not always noticeable immediately or ever. I like to do facial massage and gua sha for relaxation and self care. I do have jaw tension so I use these tools to help me release my clenching and calm my facial muscles.For the price I am very pleased and impressed with the quality. I think the value of the tool, bag and shammy with an information booklet is an excellent deal.

I recently got the Rena Chris Gua Sha Facial Tool in natural jade and have mixed feelings, but overall I do enjoy using it.First, the look of it is beautiful. The jade has a really pretty, soft green colour that feels calming and luxurious. It looks lovely sitting on my skincare shelf and feels smooth and cool against my skin. When I use it with a facial oil or serum, it glides nicely over my face and feels very soothing. I especially like using it along my jawline and cheekbones. It definitely gives that relaxing, spa-like feeling and helps with puffiness in the morning.That said, the tool itself feels quite slim, maybe even a bit too slim. I had a gua sha years ago that was noticeably thicker and more solid, and it lasted me for many years without any issues. In comparison, this one feels more delicate. Because of how thin it is, I sometimes worry that it could break if dropped or if it had even a small impact on a hard surface like a bathroom counter or tile floor. Jade is naturally fragile, but the slimmer design makes it feel a little more vulnerable than I expected.Even though I question how long it will last due to its thinness, it does feel very nice on the face. The edges are smooth and comfortable, and it works well for sculpting and gentle massage. Lately I’ve been hearing a lot about the benefits of Gua Sha and facial massages, so I decided to grab this Gua Sha stone to see what all the hype is about.My first impression is that this is a very pretty stone, and the packaging is very nice. This would make an excellent gift for anybody who’s expressed interest in trying this out.I liked the feeling of the Gua Sha stone – it was very smooth against my skin and felt great to relax. I had to look up a YouTube video on what I actually need to do with it (I wish this was included with the product), but once I started doing this it really helped to relax my facial muscles.One thing that surprised me, was that you need an oil to use this on your skin – without oil, the stone scrapes your skin. I was not aware of this when placing my order, but that’s because I had limited working knowledge until I actually ordered.I’m not sure about the long term effects of using this stone, but I think facial massage is important and beneficial for relaxation. I am considering adding this to my night time routine for additional relaxation when doing my skincare.

I’ve been looking to incorporate a gua sha into my skincare routine after hearing my friends rave about them (we’re all in our forties). I was excited to try out this jade stone tool to see if it could help with my facial puffiness.First off, I’m very impressed with this set. The gua sha tool is really pretty, in a deep green colour, with lots of swirls and colour variation. It came with a lovely felt storage pouch that snaps shut. This will be handy for travel and will help protect the stone!It also came with a little instruction booklet, which I greatly appreciated. I’m new to gua shas so having detailed instructions is awesome! It also came packed with a little cleaning cloth, which I tuck into the storage bag with the stone.The stone is thin and fits well in my hand. It has a heart-like shape so you can change the angle on your face easily, and rotate it to fit around your nose, cheeks, eyes, etc. It is on the thin side though, so I’m being careful not to drop it or knock it against anything hard. Thankfully it does fit in my hand well so I don’t feel like it’ll slip out during use.So far, I’ve been using to focus along my jawline and cheeks. It’s very smooth on my skin. I find it’s helping me release some tension in my jaw and it feels nice. So far I haven’t tried it with oil, I’m just using it with face cleanser which helps it glide over my skin. I’m using it in the shower in the mornings, and while I haven’t seen a huge difference in my appearance, my jaw does feel noticeably more relaxed!

I ordered this Rena Chris Gua Sha facial tool because a professional at the salon I go to recommended getting something like this to help boost collagen production in my face.I was excited when I saw this one, especially since it’s made of jade. I’ve also heard great reviews from facial professionals who say that tools like this, when used consistently, really do give good results.It takes weeks to see the bigger results, such as increased collagen production, but I’ve already noticed some smaller improvements. My skin looks less puffy, plumper, and more lifted. I’ve also noticed brighter skin from increased blood flow and an overall better complexion. I’m excited to see the results after one to two months of regular use.I’ve been trying to use it for 5–10 minutes each night. I use it with coconut oil, which works well for me since I don’t get breakouts.
