My fault for buying another product by “Comfytemp.” I like weighted heating pads and my last two broke after about a year each, so I thought I’d try a new model. This one only lasted three days!!!! They all just start blinking indefinitely and won’t turn on. Ridiculous. At least I can return this one. It’s a really odd design with a mesh window to show off the salt. Mine didn’t leak, but again, I’ve only had it three days! What a joke. Also, the button is very odd if you like to use your heating pad at night while you sleep, it’s very hard to tell whether you’ve pressed it to turn it on and it takes a long time to heat up. I think I would have returned it either way.

This was a very good purchase for me. The heat feels different than regular electric pads. It feels deeper, and with more warmth. So the salt does make a difference. The plush cover is thick and soft. It has a wide Velcro piece (across the whole middle to an attachable piece to hold it on a shoulder, or wherever you need it ) The size of the pad coversabout half my back which is a bonus for me.The highest heat level is what I use. The cord is longer than my old one, and reach’s far enough to get to an outlet that might be inconvenient. I have not had it long enough to speak about washing the cover. All in all I find it to be a good buy and would recommend.

Comfytemp Weighted Heating Pad is the BEST
I love my Comfytemp Himalayan Salt Weighted heating pad. It certainly provided pain relief on my L-2 compressed fracture. I even bought one for my sister who also have lower back problem and she indicated that she love her heating pad as well.
