they feel very soft and fresh on the face
I bought three of these, one for myself, my wife and my mother-in-law. They are very soft and extremely comfortable on the skin. I will explain my review in two parts. I will describe previous eye pillow that I replaced with these. And then I will talk about these with counter points to the problems of the previous ones.My previous eye pillow:they were made out of polyester. They had a Velcro adjustment in the back. The Velcro adjustment made the back non-uniform and would bother me if I laid on my back facing up. I think the rough fabric would often catch on my pillow and while moving at night, it would pull off my head so I’d have to keep looking for them. The eyes were contour so that they didn’t touch the eyelids, but the concert fabric had a stiffness to hold the shape, but the shape wasn’t the exact shape of my face and let light bleed through.These new silk eye pillows:These are made out of silk and I’m happy because I wouldn’t get away from synthetic fibers. The adjustment is a buckle style slide that has over the elastic a solid piece of silk. When lying on my side or on my back facing up, I don’t notice a large lump and it’s not uncomfortable. These stay on my head, even though they are seek and smooth. I thought they would slip off like the older version, but they stay on my head and I only could assume that they don’t slip off because they’re so slick. They don’t catch my pillow. When I move throughout the night, they slide with me instead of pulling off. Because these eye pillows don’t have a stiff contour shape for around the eyes, they fall flat around my face and don’t let light leak in. The first night I use these the slight contact to my eyelid was annoying. It was a gentle contact and I’ve grown used to it.i’ve used different versions of eye pillows for the last decade and know that if there is pressure on the eyes, it actually makes you wake up with sore eyes. I did write a one star review for these because when I put them on, they were touching my eyelids. That made me angry. I figured they would cause that tired eye feeling from a constant pressure. The seller asked me to give it a chance and I did. I realize that contact to the eyelid is not the same as pressure. There was no pressure on my eyelids and it didn’t cause the feeling you might get from wearing something pressing against your eyes for a period of time. I’m glad the seller reached out and asked me to give it a chance. I’m very happy with these. They are far superior to any of the ones I’ve bought in the past. And I’m super excited that they’re silk. I hope they’re real silk.

Luxury for Less – Perfect Eye Mask
Purchased these in Pink and Black. Soft fabric and do not apply any pressure to my eyes. They are made better (but have the same silk fabric) than a more expensive brand I own and have more and better features – (1) you can make them tighter or looser with the strap (2) they have a built in nose bridge with extra padded fabric that actually helps block out more light. (3) they are actually slightly larger than the more expensive brand so there is more fabric on the side of my face. I haven’t tried to wash them yet but will update if they fall apart when I hand-wash.

Comfortable, effective
I’ve tried a few mulberry silk sleep masks. I love them for their softness and cooling effect. I’ve found that covering my eyes at night not only helps me to sleep better, but helps soothe dry eyes. I don’t like to sleep in total darkness. A mask gives the health benefits of sleeping in total darkness, but the security of slipping it down ever so slightly and having sight of the room. I have had masks before that had too much padding causing them to fit concave and press inwardly onto my eyes. And mask, that I thought was my favorite, was great except that it had to be adjusted a lot. It didn’t often stay on. This mask does come down sometimes, but not often. And it fits wonderfully! The head-strap is very comfortable. I love the addition of the nose piece to block out more light. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Great product
Overall, I think this is a great product. My only complaint is the mask has an adjuster on the left side, which I like, but as a side sleeper, it is a little uncomfortable. It’s not very noticeable especially if I fall asleep on my right side and wake up on my left. I have been using it for 2 weeks now and even while moving in my sleep it slides up only slightly. The product comes with a piece of the fabric to burn to verify it is real silk, and I have definitely noticed the quality, I do not have acne or clogged pores in the 2 weeks I’ve been using it. The mask itself does a great job at blocking out light with its nose cover, I am a college student with dorm restrictions on curtains because of the blinds, and a window right next to my face and street lights outside. It is perfect when my roommate comes back late at night or has an 8 am as well.

Good quality if you’re ok w/ metal adjustment hook
I love the silk feeling of this eye mask and it does a great job blocking out light. The only two improvements I would make:1. Rather than making it adjustable, just make a few or a couple different sizes so that I don’t have a piece of metal digging into my ear every night.2. This is just my preference, but I’m not a big fan of the over-the-nose flap. Nice thing is you can just turn the mask inside out, and boom, problem fixed.I’d say it’s worth getting either way. It’s made with care, and if my concerns don’t sound like anything that would bother you, then you probably found the right mask.The metal adjustment hook can be temporarily covered with the silk on the elastic band cover, but I wish there was a way to keep it connected on the adjustable side.

I always sleep with a mask. My last purchase was a cheap one and drove me batty. This mask is soft and I like that it is adjustable. Great purchase . The only reason why i did not give a five star was because of the nose cushion, I am still trying to get used to .

This mulberry silk mask makes sleep feel luxurious. It is soft and lightweight, and keeps out most of the light thanks to the extra nose pad. I have many sleep masks and this one really stands out. I find masks with elastic can feel too tight, or too loose, and if the strap is too thin it can feel uncomfortable and put extra pressure on my head which is not what I want when I’m having one of my frequent headaches. I also have some masks with Velcro and over time the Velcro has lost its stick and is also uncomfortable to lay on, or can stick in your hair. I love that this mask has an adjustable strap for maximum comfort and it’s not uncomfortable to lay on, and that it is also covered in silk. The stitching is well done too, and it came with a portable travel pouch. Overall I’m very happy with this mask!
