This one actually works!
Let me start by saying I would not have bought this scale for other than the fact it was featured as an Amazon deal.I had given up on smart scales. I bought at least two, one costing twice as much as this one, and was very unhappy with them both. So much so, they were both returned. There was either a problem with the scale not being accurate or not being able to sustain a Bluetooth connection.As far as I was concerned, these scales were garbage.So, when this scale from RENPHO went on sale, the price was tempting enough that I started reading Amazon reviews. I was quite surprised to read a wealth of positive feedback on the accuracy of this scale AND the fact that it was able to keep a connection to one’s mobile device. I kind of got suckered into the purchase not knowing anything about the manufacturer and under the assumption that I would probably be sending it back to Amazon shortly after purchase.Everything that has happened since has been nothing but positive.First of all, syncing this to my iPhone via the RENPHO app was very easy. The app even integrates with Apple’s Health App which is an extra bonus. I set my personal information as well as weight goals up in the app. The next action was stepping on the scale to see exactly how accurate this scale would be. To my astonishment, it was on the spot. I was not expecting this, as most of these scales I have buying were way off. This one was actually accurate.As I stepped on the scale I heard a little sound effect coming from my iPhone. My weight had immediately been transmitted and stored to the RENPHO app. I opened up Apple Health and my weight was there as well. Future weigh-in’s garnered the same result as long as my iPhone was within Bluetooth range.Can’t say I really understand body mass settings. The app does its best to tell you whether you are in the normal, overweight or obese range. I am going to have to take the word of the app that I have a little bit of work to do in order to get back to normal.I forgot to mention that one of the best aspects of this scale is that you don’t have to worry about replacing batteries. The scale is fully rechargeable. It comes with a USB cord, but you are going to have to supply your own power adapter.I have to stress that I tried a scale in the $60+ range made by one of the big companies in the health tracking field. It was the most undependable product of that type I ever bought. It really put a scare into me from buying another smart scale. What made matters initially worse was this scale was almost a third of the price lesser. How could it be better? Well, I managed to really surprise myself with this purchase. It’s really a great scale that’s really accurate and can keep its Bluetooth connection.Yes, this is the scale you want!

I really like this product, because it’s very easy to use. The app is great and non-complicated. I amable to keep track of my weight in great accuracy. The battery life is good too. I don’t have to charge it often.

I purchased this scale on Sept 21st, so 8 days ago, and have been using it ever since.I really wanted a scale which could augment my fitness journey. I’ve been doing the keto diet for some months now, and have been tracking my food and my workouts, as well as any fitness gains. Tracking my weight and bodyfat were the only step I’d been missing out on. This scale checked all the boxes. It is rechargable, it is accurate, it tracks bodyfat (more on this in a minute) and it is connected, so you just step on the thing, and it uploads the data to my phone and gives me access to historical information and graphs and what not (see screenshot).A caveat with any scale that measures body fat is that it can only be so accurate. Basically, the way it works is it sends a small electric current up one leg, and down the other and measures resistance. This can only be so accurate, as to really get an accurate body fat measurement you need go to a hospital or a lab to have a dexa or somesuch done, and that can be very cost prohibitive.But, what this scale DOES offer is that it can show you change over time. I’m sitting at ~20% body fat right now. That might not be an accurate number, and could vary up to 20% (and probably does), but I can still watch that number over time to make sure it’s moving in the right direction.So, to wrap it all up, the scale is not expensive and it works great, and the connected app is nice, too! I would not hesitate to recommend or buy again.

La bascula funciona perfectamente, tiene precisión, la app es bastante buena y fácil de usar, y lo que mas me gusta es que si te pesas sin el móvil, la próxima vez que te conectes con la app del móvil se sincronizan tus pesadas anteriores, por lo que no tienes que utilizar siempre el móvil y no pierdes datos. Se sincroniza bien con la app de salud de ios y también en la app de google. y que no lleve pilas y sea recargable me encanta.
